Wholesale and Bulk Matcha from Japan
I started One with Tea because I couldn't find a matcha supplier I actually trusted. Every time I asked for lab results or sourcing details, I got vague answers or silence.
So I went to Japan myself. I spent months visiting farms across Uji, Nishio, Shizuoka, Kagoshima, and Miyazaki, meeting the people who grow the tea, watching the stone-milling process, and documenting everything on film.
That's how One with Tea was born: direct relationships with Japanese green tea farmers, full organic certification, and lab results we're proud to share. Over 62% of US consumers now prefer organic options for daily use (Global Growth Insights), and your customers are part of that shift.
If you're opening a cafe, building a matcha brand, or adding ceremonial grade to your menu, this page covers what we offer, how we source, and how to get started.
I built this program for people like me: business owners who care about what they serve. If that's you, fill out the form below. I'll personally review your application and get back to you with pricing, samples, and everything you need to make a decision.
Submit the form and my current price sheet opens right away. You'll hear back within 2 business days.

The fine print
Three ways to buy
| Route | Minimum | Timing | Packaging |
|---|---|---|---|
| In-stock bulk | From 1 kg, scaling to 100 kg and up | Ships from US inventory, lead time in your quote | Confirmed in your quote |
| Made-to-order run from Japan | Confirmed in your quote | 4 to 6 weeks from deposit to shipment-ready, transit quoted on top | Nitrogen-flushed, heat-sealed aluminum pouches |
| Private label run | 45 kg, which is 750 pouches at 60 g or 1,500 at 30 g | 4 to 6 weeks from deposit and artwork approval to shipment-ready, transit quoted on top | Your labels, front and back |
Four grades
| Grade | Certification | Ships from |
|---|---|---|
| Latte Grade (Organic) | USDA Organic | US inventory |
| Ceremonial (Organic) | USDA Organic | US inventory |
| Superior | Not organic certified | Availability and lead time in your quote |
| Royal | Not organic certified | Availability and lead time in your quote |
Latte Grade is 100% organic matcha, nothing else, and never a premix.
Superior and Royal are our premium Uji ceremonial grades, the ones to pour for a straight whisked cup or a tasting menu. Neither is organic certified.
- In-stock bulk orders are paid in full before shipping
- A 50% deposit reserves a made-to-order or private label run, with the balance due before shipment
- On made-to-order and private label runs shipped from Japan, you are the importer of record: you clear customs and pay duty. In-stock bulk ships from US inventory with no international leg, so none of that applies to it.

How I source
When you buy through a broker, you're trusting a middleman's word on quality. When you buy from us, you're buying from someone who stood in the field where your tea was grown.
I've walked through tea gardens in all five of Japan's top producing regions. Each one has a character of its own, and I want you to know exactly where your product comes from.
We import in small, frequent batches to keep everything as fresh as possible, and I personally verify growing conditions every season.
Your order has one point of contact from order to delivery. More on the trip lives on our documentary page.

Brands that use single-origin sourcing, organic certifications, and direct-farm narratives see higher margins and stronger customer loyalty (Mordor Intelligence, 2025). That model is the foundation of our wholesale program.

Certified and tested
Our certifications are legal standards we uphold with every shipment, not marketing copy.
Certificates
- USDA Organic, certified by QCS, for our Latte Grade (Organic) and Ceremonial (Organic)
- Our producers hold JAS
- Imports run under NOP import certificates
Lab testing
- Heavy metals
- Pesticides
- Microbes
- Radiation
Each test is explained on our lab results page, and the results are available on request: ask when I reply to your quote request.
A 2025 Mordor Intelligence report notes that verifying authenticity and preventing adulteration rank among the top challenges for new entrants in the US market. We handle that burden for you.
Quick answers
What is the minimum order for wholesale matcha?
In-stock bulk starts at 1 kg and scales to 100 kg and up. A private label run is 45 kg, and the minimum for a made-to-order run is confirmed in your quote.
How long does a bulk order take?
Made-to-order and private label runs take 4 to 6 weeks from deposit (and artwork approval, for private label) to shipment-ready, with transit quoted on top. For in-stock orders, the lead time is stated in your quote.
How do I pay for an order?
In-stock bulk orders are paid in full before shipping. Made-to-order and private label runs are reserved with a 50% deposit, and the balance is due before shipment.
Can I get samples first?
Yes. Samples are available on request, and your written quote includes the sample terms.
Which grades do you sell wholesale?
Four: Latte Grade (Organic), Ceremonial (Organic), Superior and Royal. Both organic grades are USDA Organic and ship from US inventory. Latte Grade is 100% organic matcha with nothing added, not a premix. Superior and Royal are our premium Uji ceremonial grades. They are not organic certified, and their availability and lead time are confirmed in your quote.
How long does it keep?
Our pouches are nitrogen-flushed, heat-sealed aluminum. Shelf life is 2 years from packing, unopened and stored cool.
What health benefits can businesses highlight to customers?
The product is rich in L-theanine and antioxidants that support focus and sustained energy, qualities your customers actively seek out.
Are lab results available?
Yes. We test for heavy metals, pesticides, microbes and radiation, as described on our lab results page, and the results are available on request.
Why is there no price on this page?
Prices move with the raw matcha market, so they stay off this page. Submit the form and my current price sheet opens right away. Your written quote then prices your exact grade and amount, and holds for 21 days.
Who reviews my quote request?
I do. I'm Christian Mauerer, the founder, and I read every quote request and reply to each one myself.
Who can order?
US businesses only. Cafes, boba shops, brands, restaurants, hotels, bakeries, studios and retailers all request quotes through the form on this page.
