Matcha for Restaurants and Hotels
This page is for restaurant and hotel buyers: matcha for one dining room or several outlets, from the breakfast latte to a whisked tea course, sourced direct from the farms in Japan.
I'm Christian, founder of One with Tea. I started One with Tea because I couldn't find a matcha supplier I actually trusted. Every time I asked for lab results or sourcing details, I got vague answers or silence. So I went to Japan myself.
We import in small, frequent batches to keep everything as fresh as possible, and I personally verify growing conditions every season.

Grades by drink
Each kitchen and bar picks by the drink it pours. Two grades ship from our US stock, and two more come on request. The ladder runs Latte Grade (Organic), then Ceremonial (Organic), with Superior and Royal above both.
In US stock
Latte Grade (Organic)
For milk drinks at the bar and the breakfast service. It is 100% organic matcha, with no sugar, no creamer and no premix base, so the sweetness stays the recipe's call. USDA Organic.
Ceremonial (Organic)
For straight whisked matcha and the signature drinks where the tea leads. Also USDA Organic.
On request
Superior and Royal
These are our premium Uji ceremonial grades, ranked above Ceremonial, made for a straight whisked cup, a tea course or a tasting-menu pairing. They are not organic certified, and availability and lead time for both are confirmed in your quote.
The fine print
How ordering works
| Route | Quantity | Timing |
|---|---|---|
| In-stock bulk | Latte Grade and Ceremonial, from 1 kg, scaling to 100 kg and up | Ships from US inventory, with no international leg. Your quote confirms the ship date |
| Made-to-order run from Japan | Minimum confirmed in your quote | 4 to 6 weeks from deposit to shipment-ready, with transit quoted on top |
- In-stock bulk is the lightest commitment. A made-to-order run is produced in Japan for you, and your quantity is reserved when the deposit lands.
- In-stock orders are paid in full before shipping. A 50% deposit reserves a made-to-order run, with the balance due before shipment.
- Your written quote holds its prices for 21 days.
- In-stock orders ship from US inventory, with no international leg. On a made-to-order run shipped from Japan, you are the importer of record, so customs and duty sit with you.
- Quote requests are open to US businesses only.
If you want your own brand on a retail line, private label matcha has its own terms.
How much you'll need
Size it outlet by outlet, starting with the dose.
Pour closer to 4 g and that count drops.
Run each outlet through the calculator with its own drinks per day, grams per drink and open days per week, then add the 4-week figures together and put the total on the form.
Running a coffee bar in one of your outlets? See matcha for cafes.
Sourcing
Direct from the farms
I spent months visiting farms across Uji, Nishio, Shizuoka, Kagoshima, and Miyazaki, meeting the people who grow the tea, watching the stone-milling process, and documenting everything on film. There is more on our documentary page.
We buy through direct relationships with the farmers, with no broker chain in between, so you get one point of contact from order to delivery.
When you buy through a broker, you're trusting a middleman's word on quality. When you buy from us, you're buying from someone who stood in the field where your tea was grown.
- Certified organicLatte Grade and Ceremonial are USDA Organic, certified by QCS. Our producers in Japan hold JAS certification, and our imports run under USDA NOP import certificates.
- Lab testedHeavy metals, pesticides, microbes and radiation, with the results available on request.

Quick answers
Why aren't prices listed?
Raw matcha keeps repricing, so prices stay off this page. Submit the form and my current price sheet opens right away.
Can my chef and bar team taste it first?
Yes. Samples are available on request. Ask for samples when I reply to your quote request, and your written quote includes the sample terms.
Which grade goes where?
Latte Grade (Organic) for milk drinks, Ceremonial (Organic) for straight whisked matcha and signature drinks. Superior and Royal are our premium Uji ceremonial grades, ranked above Ceremonial, for a tea course or a tasting menu. They are not organic certified, and their availability and lead time are confirmed in your quote.
How do I order for several locations?
Size each location in the calculator, add them up, and put the total volume on the form. In-stock bulk scales from 1 kg to 100 kg and up. If your outlets need separate deliveries, tell me when I reply.
How long does it keep?
Our pouches are nitrogen-flushed, heat-sealed aluminum. Shelf life is 2 years from packing, unopened and stored cool.
What happens after I submit the form?
I read every quote request myself, and your written quote follows within 2 business days. It holds for 21 days, and once you accept, in-stock orders are paid in full before shipping.
Do you have something for the pastry kitchen?
Culinary is not one of the four grades on this page, but the form has a Culinary option. Tick it if that is what your pastry team needs, and we will find a solution together. For a full pastry program, see matcha for bakeries.
Are lab results available?
Yes. We test for heavy metals, pesticides, microbes and radiation. Our lab results page explains each screen, and the results themselves are available on request.
