Matcha for Cafes and Coffee Shops

Organic matcha for the lattes you pour every day, stocked in the US and sourced direct from the farms in Japan.

I started One with Tea because I couldn't find a matcha supplier I actually trusted. Every time I asked for lab results or sourcing details, I got vague answers or silence. So I went to Japan myself.

We import in small, frequent batches to keep everything as fresh as possible, and I personally verify growing conditions every season.

Your grades

Pick by the drink. Two grades ship from our US stock, and two more come on request.

In US stock

Latte Grade (Organic)

For the drink you pour most. It is 100% organic matcha, with no sugar, no creamer and no premix base, so the sweetness stays your recipe's call. USDA Organic.

Ceremonial (Organic)

For straight whisked matcha and the signature drinks where the tea leads. Also USDA Organic.

On request

Superior and Royal

These are our premium Uji ceremonial grades, made for a straight whisked cup or a tasting menu. They are not organic certified, so they sit apart from the two organic grades above, and availability and lead time for both are confirmed in your quote.

The fine print

How ordering works

Route Quantity Timing
In-stock bulk Latte Grade and Ceremonial, from 1 kg, scaling to 100 kg and up Ships from US inventory, with the lead time stated in your quote
Made-to-order run from Japan Minimum confirmed in your quote 4 to 6 weeks from deposit to shipment-ready, with transit quoted on top
  • In-stock orders are paid in full before shipping. A 50% deposit reserves a made-to-order run, with the balance due before shipment.
  • Your written quote holds for 21 days.
  • On a made-to-order run shipped from Japan, you are the importer of record, so customs and duty sit with you. In-stock orders have no international leg, so this never applies to them.
  • Quote requests are open to US businesses only.

If you want your own brand on the pouch, private label matcha has its own terms.

How much you'll need

Your order size starts with one dose.

333lattes from 1 kg at 3 g each, the low end of the 3 to 4 g latte dose in our preparation guide

Pour closer to 4 g and that count drops.

So set your own dose in the calculator. Enter drinks a day, grams a drink and open days, and it gives you kilograms per month and a 4-week order size.

Where it grows

You should know where your matcha grows before your customers ask.

I spent months visiting farms across Uji, Nishio, Shizuoka, Kagoshima, and Miyazaki, meeting the people who grow the tea, watching the stone-milling process, and documenting everything on film. There is more on our documentary page.

We buy through direct relationships with the farmers, with no broker chain in between, so you get one point of contact from order to delivery.

When you buy through a broker, you're trusting a middleman's word on quality. When you buy from us, you're buying from someone who stood in the field where your tea was grown.

Our certifications are legal standards we uphold with every shipment, not marketing copy.

  • CertifiedUSDA Organic through QCS for Latte Grade and Ceremonial. Our producers hold JAS, and imports run under NOP import certificates.
  • Lab testedHeavy metals, pesticides, microbes and radiation, with the results available on request.

Quick answers

Why aren't prices listed?

Raw matcha keeps repricing, so prices stay off this page. Submit the form and my current price sheet opens right away.

Can I order a small amount to test a menu?

Yes. In-stock bulk starts at 1 kg, so a menu test doesn't need a big first order.

Which grades do you offer cafes?

Four. Latte Grade and Ceremonial are USDA Organic and stocked in our US inventory. Superior and Royal are our premium Uji ceremonial grades for a straight whisked cup or a tasting menu. They are not organic certified, and their availability and lead time are confirmed in your quote.

Is Latte Grade a premix?

No. Latte Grade is 100% organic matcha with nothing added: no sugar, no creamer and no milk powder.

Can I taste it before I order?

Yes. Samples are available on request. Every written quote includes the sample terms, so submitting the form is all it takes to start.

What happens after I submit the form?

I read every quote request myself. Your written quote follows within 2 business days and holds for 21 days, and once you accept, in-stock orders are paid in full before shipping.

How fast can I get it?

Latte Grade and Ceremonial are already stocked in the US, and your quote states the lead time. Made-to-order runs from Japan take 4 to 6 weeks from deposit to shipment-ready, with transit quoted on top.

How long does it keep?

Our pouches are nitrogen-flushed, heat-sealed aluminum. Shelf life is 2 years from packing, unopened and stored cool.

Are lab results available?

Yes. We test for heavy metals, pesticides, microbes and radiation. Our lab results page explains each screen, and the results themselves are available on request.

Before you switch

Taste it first

Tell me your volume and grade on the form, and ask for samples when I reply.

The sample terms come with your written quote, so your barista can taste it in your own recipe before anyone commits to a switch.
