Enter your menu and get your order in kilograms or pounds.

No prices on this page, just quantities, so the figure you bring to the quote request form comes from your own sales rather than a guess.

That is 2.5 kg of use, so about 0.5 kg carries over. Shelf life is 2 years from packing, unopened and stored cool, so skip a reorder once the spare adds up.

The math

How it works

Every step sits here in the open, ready to check against last month's sales.

Grams per week
drinks per day × grams per drink × open days
Kilograms per month
grams per week × 4.33 ÷ 1,000
Kilograms per year
grams per week × 52 ÷ 1,000
Days 1 kg lasts
1,000 ÷ (drinks per day × grams per drink)
Suggested order
grams per week × 4 ÷ 1,000, rounded up, never below 1 kg
In pounds and ounces
kilograms × 2.20462 = pounds; grams × 0.035274 = ounces

4.33 weeks is 52 weeks divided by 12.

333lattes from 1 kg, at 3 g a latte.

Your dose is your own. Weigh one drink the way your baristas make it, and every figure above follows. For how a dose changes the cup, see our preparation guide.

Grades, samples and terms for your kind of shop are on matcha for cafes and matcha for bubble tea shops.

Quick answers

How many lattes does 1 kg of matcha make?

About 333, at 3 g a latte. At a different dose, divide 1,000 by your grams per drink.

How much matcha goes in one drink?

I plan with 3 g per drink, for a latte or a ceremonial cup, the low end of the 3 to 4 g our preparation guide gives for a latte. Your own dose overrides it.

How many pounds is a kilogram?

1 kg is 2.2 lb, or 35.3 oz. Switch the calculator to lb to see every figure in pounds and ounces. Orders are still placed in whole kilograms.

What is the smallest order?

In-stock bulk starts at 1 kg, so the calculator never suggests less. Quote requests are open to US businesses only.

Where do in-stock orders ship from?

Our US inventory, so there is no international leg. In-stock bulk orders are paid in full before shipping.

Which grades can I order?

Four: Latte Grade (Organic) and Ceremonial (Organic), plus Superior and Royal, which are not organic certified. Latte Grade and Ceremonial are USDA Organic and ship from our US inventory, and Latte Grade is 100% organic matcha with no sugar, creamer or milk powder.

What are Superior and Royal?

Our premium Uji ceremonial grades, ranked above Ceremonial, for a straight-whisked cup or a tasting menu. They are not organic certified, and their availability and lead time are confirmed in your quote.

Where are the prices?

Submit the form and my current price sheet opens right away. The sheet is the general list, and the written quote that follows is the one for your order: your volume and grade, held for 21 days.

Can I try it first?

Yes. Samples are available on request, and the sample terms come with your written quote.
