Matcha for Yoga and Wellness Studios

A whisked bowl of matcha after class, poured from your own tea bar, organic and sourced direct from the farms in Japan.

I'm Christian, founder of One with Tea. I started One with Tea because I couldn't find a matcha supplier I actually trusted. Every time I asked for lab results or sourcing details, I got vague answers or silence. So I went to Japan myself.

This page is for a studio tea bar: one or two grades, a kilo at a time, and a taste before anything goes on the menu.

  • Ceremonial (Organic) and Latte Grade (Organic), USDA certified
  • In-stock from 1 kg, ships from US inventory
  • Samples on request

Submit the form and my current price sheet opens right away. I personally review every quote request and reply within 2 business days.

After class

Your grades

Pick by the cup. Two organic grades ship from our US stock. Two premium grades rank above them and come on request.

Our matcha is rich in L-theanine and antioxidants that support focus and sustained energy.

In US stock

Ceremonial (Organic)

For the bowl. Whisked straight with water, it is the cup you hand a member as they roll up their mat, with nothing between them and the tea. It is the ceremonial grade that carries the USDA Organic seal.

Latte Grade (Organic)

For the tea bar that pours lattes. It is 100% organic matcha, with no sugar, no creamer and no premix base, so the sweetness stays your recipe's call. Also USDA Organic.

On request, above Ceremonial

Superior and Royal

These are our premium Uji ceremonial grades, and they rank above Ceremonial (Organic). Choose them for a straight whisked cup or a tasting session with your members. They are not organic certified, so if your menu needs the USDA seal, Ceremonial (Organic) is your bowl. Availability and lead time for both are confirmed in your quote.

The fine print

How ordering works

A studio tea bar orders in-stock bulk. That is the whole route for most of you.

  • Latte Grade and Ceremonial, from 1 kg, shipped from US inventory with no international leg.
  • The lead time is stated in your quote, and in-stock orders are paid in full before shipping.
  • Your written quote holds for 21 days.
  • Quote requests are open to US businesses only.

Only for a run made in Japan

  • A made-to-order run takes 4 to 6 weeks from deposit to shipment-ready, with transit quoted on top. The minimum is confirmed in your quote.
  • A 50% deposit reserves the run, with the balance due before shipment.
  • Shipped from Japan, you are the importer of record, so customs and duty sit with you.

Want your studio's name on the pouch? Private label matcha has its own terms.

Start small

A small tea bar can start with one kilo.

333bowls or lattes from 1 kg at 3 g each, the low end of the 3 to 4 g latte dose in our preparation guide

I plan with 3 g for the whisked bowl and the latte alike, so 333 holds whichever you pour. Pour closer to 4 g and that count drops.

For your own month, use the calculator. Enter drinks a day, grams a drink and open days, and it gives you kilograms per month and a 4-week order size. Set that figure next to the price sheet and you know your monthly spend before I reply.

Where it grows

Your members will ask where it comes from.

I spent months visiting farms across Uji, Nishio, Shizuoka, Kagoshima, and Miyazaki, meeting the people who grow the tea, watching the stone-milling process, and documenting everything on film. I've walked through tea gardens in all five of Japan's top producing regions. Each one has a character of its own, and I want you to know exactly where your product comes from. There is more on our documentary page.

Those months were the start. This is how it runs now: We import in small, frequent batches to keep everything as fresh as possible, and I personally verify growing conditions every season.

We buy through direct relationships with the farmers, with no broker chain in between, so you get one point of contact from order to delivery.

  • CertifiedUSDA Organic through QCS for Latte Grade and Ceremonial. Our producers hold JAS, and imports run under NOP import certificates.
  • Lab testedHeavy metals, pesticides, microbes and radiation. The lab results page explains each screen, and the results themselves are available on request.

Quick answers

Why aren't prices listed?

Raw matcha keeps repricing, so prices stay off this page. Submit the form and my current price sheet opens right away.

Which ceremonial grade is for me?

Superior and Royal rank above Ceremonial (Organic). They are our premium Uji ceremonial grades, but they are not organic certified. If your menu needs the USDA Organic seal, choose Ceremonial (Organic). Samples let you taste the difference in your own studio.

How long does it keep?

Our pouches are nitrogen-flushed, heat-sealed aluminum. Shelf life is 2 years from packing, unopened and stored cool.

Is it really organic and tested?

Yes. Latte Grade and Ceremonial are USDA Organic through QCS, our producers hold JAS, and we test for heavy metals, pesticides, microbes and radiation, with the results available on request. Superior and Royal are not organic certified. Our lab results page explains each screen.

Can I sell it to my members?

Yes, on inquiry. Retail and resale terms come in your quote only. See matcha for retailers or private label matcha if you want your studio's name on the pouch.

Can I try it first?

Yes. Samples are available on request: ask for them when I reply to your quote request. The sample terms come with your written quote.

What happens after I submit the form?

I read every quote request myself. Your written quote follows within 2 business days and holds for 21 days, and once you accept, in-stock orders are paid in full before shipping.

The sample terms come with your written quote, so you can whisk a bowl in your own studio before it goes on the menu.
