Brewing Instructions

Instructions:

  1. Sift 1 tsp (2g) of matcha into a bowl or cup to prevent clumping.
  2. Add a small amount of hot water (2 oz / 60ml at 160–175°F or 70–80°C).
  3. Whisk vigorously in a zig-zag motion until smooth and frothy.
  4. Optional: For a matcha latte, add 6–8 oz (180–240ml) of warm or frothed milk (dairy or plant-based) instead of or in addition to water.
  5. Sweeten if desired and enjoy immediately.

Instructions:

  1. Heat Water to 160–175°F (70–80°C).
  2. Add 1 tsp (2g) of tea per 6 oz (180ml) of water.
  3. Steep for 60–90 seconds.
  4. Strain & Enjoy immediately.
  5. Optional: Re-steep 2–3 times, increasing the steep time slightly.

Instructions:

  1. Heat Water to 175°F (80°C).
  2. Add 1 tsp (2g) of tea per 6 oz (180ml) of water.
  3. Steep for 1.5–2 minutes.
  4. Gently Stir before pouring to mix the matcha.
  5. Strain & Enjoy immediately.
  6. Optional: Re-steep once, increasing steep time slightly.

Instructions:

  1. Sift 1 tsp (2g) of hojicha powder into a cup or bowl.
  2. Add 2 oz (60ml) of hot water (175°F / 80°C).
  3. Whisk until smooth.
  4. Optional: Add 6–8 oz (180–240ml) of warm or frothed milk for a latte.
  5. Sweeten if desired and enjoy immediately.
