Brewing Instructions
Instructions:
Sift
1 tsp (2g) of matcha into a bowl or cup to prevent clumping.
Add
a small amount of hot water (2 oz / 60ml at 160–175°F or 70–80°C).
Whisk
vigorously in a zig-zag motion until smooth and frothy.
Optional:
For a matcha latte, add 6–8 oz (180–240ml) of warm or frothed milk (dairy or plant-based) instead of or in addition to water.
Sweeten
if desired and enjoy immediately.
Instructions:
Heat Water
to 160–175°F (70–80°C).
Add
1 tsp (2g) of tea per 6 oz (180ml) of water.
Steep
for 60–90 seconds.
Strain & Enjoy
immediately.
Optional:
Re-steep 2–3 times, increasing the steep time slightly.
Instructions:
Heat Water
to 175°F (80°C).
Add
1 tsp (2g) of tea per 6 oz (180ml) of water.
Steep
for 1.5–2 minutes.
Gently Stir
before pouring to mix the matcha.
Strain & Enjoy
immediately.
Optional:
Re-steep once, increasing steep time slightly.
Instructions:
Sift
1 tsp (2g) of hojicha powder into a cup or bowl.
Add
2 oz (60ml) of hot water (175°F / 80°C).
Whisk
until smooth.
Optional:
Add 6–8 oz (180–240ml) of warm or frothed milk for a latte.
Sweeten if desired
and enjoy immediately.
